If you recall, a Colorado man decided to waste our government’s valuable time and resources by submitting a petition to build a Death Star. Naturally, it got more than enough signatures to warrant official consideration.Wasteful though it may be, …
Its been ages since i last posted an update, for that i am sorry but when you realize how busy i have been i am positive you will forgive me. Firstly i have totally settled in now found a job been out a few nights drinking and made a couple new friends so more details here we go.
Suppose i will start with the job. I found myself a little full time job in a class wee fine wine off-licence called Oddbins. Three weeks later i was promoted to assistant manager, i expect to be managing by Christmas and running the company by easter! They have put allot of faith in me, and are sending me to London for training! Not too soon when but i am looking forward to that! The guys i work with are a really good bunch of fellas, pretty much would fit in with all my buddies back home so when you dudes get out to visit me we can all go out together! … and play munchkin!
Next up i have been out a few nights, and exploring a few days, Edinburgh is opening up so much and there is so much to see. Clare and me went on a trip to the museum, we found it to be pretty amazing. on our way out we realized there was this whole other part even bigger than the place we first walked around so i think a few more day trips will be needed to see everything that it has to offer. That is just one museum there are so many on offer.. i love this city!
I took a we trip home for a family wedding, Clare’s cousin, it was as all Irish weddings are, drinking from noon to midnight with dancing food and more dancing then food again followed by more dancing! It was good to see my family and friends too, the day trip to the zoo at Belfast was amazing! I fed the monkeys! Yes.. well i poked a big branch through a hole in the fence so they could eat the leaves but it still counts!
Its getting pretty long so ill cut it off now. Last thing i wanna say is im doing Movember this year so all your donations will be really appreciated. I will keep you all updated on that as it goes on!
Well the weathers changed that’s for sure, i can feel the cold Scottish air in my bones! Still the skys bright blue when its not raining and the sun still shines so a little cold wont hurt me! Im actually kinda looking forward to the winter, wana see the city all covered in snow! yes I’m strange!
So what all have I been doing? Nothing really apart from the usual, still reading Twilight Books, still blogging movies, still photo shopping movie posters, and still watching amazing TV Shows! lol I am onto watching Dexter which a few of my good friends will approve of! Other than that its been a slow couple weeks really, mostly spent chilling!
My running is going pretty good, getting my pace, finding my breath. The run along the canal is interesting which keeps me going further as i wanna explore! So with luck ill be in good shape by the time i come home for a visit! Which is in like 6 weeks! so keep a date free around the 16 to 20 of October people for a booze up!
